Brunch Bagels

Bagels make for the perfect foil to a plethora of innovative ingredients for the perfect New York yumwich on-the-go. We’ve added a twist to the all-time favourite Bagels with lox and cream with this easy recipe.

What you need

  • Smoked salmon
  • 1 Breadworks Bagels
  • Avocado
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Capers, drained
  • Salt and freshly cracked pepper

How you do it

  • Halve and toast the bagels.
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mash avocado with the juice of half a lemon. Season to taste.
  • Smear each bagel half with avocado spread, then top with smoked salmon, red onion and capers. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon and a twist or two of freshly cracked black pepper.
